MARCELLA OCCHIPINTI – CERAMICHE ARTISTICHE è un atelier di oggetti in ceramica frutto di una ricerca ed elaborazione continua che rendono ogni singolo pezzo un prodotto assolutamente unico.

La bottega nasce nel 2009, in forma di piccolo laboratorio di ceramica, dopo un lungo percorso di studio sui metodi di lavorazione e decorazione della terracotta intrapreso da Chiara Burrafato già dal 2000. La produzione esce sin da subito dagli schemi classici per una elaborazione nuova e diversificata per generi.

Nel 2010, dall’incontro tra Chiara e Marcella Occhipinti, il laboratorio diventa bottega d’arte e con il nome “Krete” si presenta come un centro di ricerca continua, dove vengono sperimentate e affinate tecniche di decorazione nuove e “inusuali”: la ceramica graffita, la cuerda seca, l’utilizzo atipico degli smalti colorati, i gessetti sotto cristallina.

Allo studio sulle tecniche, viene affiancato quello sui decori: nascono così le collezioni KRETE.

Nel 2015, nasce la BOTTEGA DI RAGUSA IBLA gestita dalle sorelle Giuliana e Laura Occhipinti. In uno dei luoghi più suggestivi e magici della Sicilia sud-orientale, le ceramiche KRETE trovano l’ideale scenario. Qui potrete trovare ceramiche artistiche, complementi d’arredo, idee regalo, servizi da tavola, monili in ceramica. Inoltre, potrete ordinare bomboniere, liste nozze e oggetti personalizzati. Marcella Occhipinti ceramiche artistiche is an atelier of ceramic objects, the result of continuous research and processing that make every single piece an absolutely unique product.

The workshop was founded in 2009, in the form of a small ceramic workshop, after a long study path on the methods of working and decorating terracotta undertaken by Chiara Burrafato as early as 2000. The production immediately left the classic schemes for a new and diversified by genres.

In 2010, from the meeting between Chiara and Marcella Occhipinti, the laboratory becomes an art workshop and with the name “Krete” it presents itself as a center of continuous research, where new and “unusual” decoration techniques are tested and refined: the engraved ceramics, the cuerda seca, the atypical use of colored glazes, the chalks under crystalline.
The study of the techniques is accompanied by that of the decorations: this is how the KRETE collections are born.
In 2015, the BOTTEGA DI RAGUSA IBLA was born, managed by the sisters Giuliana and Laura Occhipinti. In one of the most evocative and magical places in south-eastern Sicily, KRETE ceramics find the ideal setting.
